GENERAL PHILODENDRON CARE RECOMMENDATIONS LIGHT: Bright, filtered light or light partial shade. Red and bronze varieties appear more vibrant in bright light. WATERING: Moderate. Allow the top layer of soil to dry out between waterings. Avoid collecting water in the pot (if there is no drainage hole). HUMIDITY: Normal room humidity is suitable. Higher humidity makes plants appear more lush and fresh. TEMPERATURE: A comfortable range of 18–27°C. Temperatures below 15°C are undesirable. FERTILIZER: Every 2 weeks during the active growth period. You can alternate between mineral fertilizer and lignohumate.
