GENERAL PHILODENDRON CARE RECOMMENDATIONS LIGHT: Bright, filtered light or light partial shade. Variegated varieties prefer a brighter location to maintain their color. WATERING: Moderate. The soil should dry out at the top between waterings. Small pots dry out more quickly, so check more frequently. HUMIDITY: Normal room humidity is suitable, but plants grow more vigorously with higher humidity. TEMPERATURE: Optimally 18–27°C. Not below 15°C. FERTILIZER: In spring and summer, apply every 2 weeks with a fertilizer for green indoor plants. Alternatively, alternate with lignohumate. In winter, apply minimally.
