GENERAL PHILODENDRON CARE RECOMMENDATIONS LIGHT: Prefers bright, filtered light. Variegation remains pronounced in good light. Partial shade is also suitable, but coloration may fade. WATERING: Moderate. The soil should dry slightly on top between waterings. Avoid overwatering—the roots are sensitive to standing water. HUMIDITY: Standard room humidity is suitable, but higher humidity encourages vigorous growth and larger leaves. TEMPERATURE: Comfortable at 18–27°C. Do not allow the temperature to drop below 15°C. FERTILIZER: In spring and summer, fertilize every 2 weeks with a fertilizer for green indoor plants. Alternate with lignohumate to strengthen the roots.
