Philodendron Scandens is a classic, fast-growing climbing philodendron with heart-shaped, velvety leaves in a deep green hue. This specimen is grown in a vulcaponic system (an air-porous substrate) and is equipped with a water level sensor, making care significantly easier. The plant is tied to a moss/support. Pot diameter: 34 cm, plant height: 160 cm. Supplied: in a technical (plastic) pot.
GENERAL PHILODENDRON CARE RECOMMENDATIONS LIGHT: Bright, filtered light or partial shade. Thrives away from direct sunlight. WATERING: The vulcaponic system and water sensor make watering easier to control—it's important to monitor the level on the indicator. Water when the sensor shows low. The roots do not tolerate stagnant water. HUMILITUDE: Philodendron Scandens prefers high humidity, but also grows well in standard room conditions. TEMPERATURE: Ideal range: 18–27°C. Avoid temperatures below 15°C. FERTILIZER: Fertilize every 2 weeks during the growing season. With the vulcaponic system, it's best to dilute the fertilizer more dilutely than usual (approximately 50–70% of the standard dosage).
