GENERAL CARE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PHILODENDRONS LIGHT: Bright, filtered light is essential to maintain rich variegation. Leaves may turn green in shade. Direct sun is best – only soft morning sun. WATERING: Moderate. Allow the top layer of soil to dry out between waterings. Does not tolerate standing water. HUMIDITY: High humidity (60%+) helps maintain vibrant foliage and prevents tips from drying out. TEMPERATURE: A range of 18–27°C (64–80°F) is ideal. Temperatures below 15°C (59°F) slow growth and damage variegated areas. FERTILIZER: Fertilize every 2 weeks during the growing season. Alternate mineral fertilizer with lignohumate to support the root system.
