Philodendron selloum (also known as Philodendron bipinnatifidum) is a large-leaved, showy philodendron with serrated leaves that form a lush, spreading crown. GENERAL PHILODENDRON CARE RECOMMENDATIONS LIGHT: Bright, filtered light or partial shade. It will grow in shade, but the leaves may become smaller and less dissected. WATERING: Moderate. The soil should dry out slightly between waterings. Avoid overwatering, as the large roots are sensitive to standing water. HUMIDITY: Thrives in standard humidity, but with higher humidity, it grows more vigorously and forms larger leaves. TEMPERATURE: Optimum: 18–27°C. Temperatures below 15°C are not recommended. FERTILIZER: Fertilize every 2 weeks during the active growth period. Lignohumate can be added monthly to strengthen the root system.
