GENERAL PHILODENDRON CARE RECOMMENDATIONS LIGHT: Bright, filtered light or light partial shade. Particularly vibrant varieties will be more vibrant in good light. WATERING: Moderate. Allow the top layer of soil to dry out between waterings. Avoid overwatering. HUMIDITY: Standard humidity is suitable, but higher humidity will make plants appear fuller and grow faster. TEMPERATURE: 18–27°C. Temperatures below 15°C are undesirable. FERTILIZER: Fertilize every two weeks during the growing season. You can alternate mineral fertilizer with lignohumate for root support.
