GENERAL PHILODENDRON CARE RECOMMENDATIONS LIGHT: Philodendrons tolerate partial shade, but grow best in bright, filtered light. The variegation will be more vibrant in bright light. WATERING: Moderate. Allow the substrate to dry slightly between waterings. Reduce watering in winter. HUMIDITY: Basic humidity is suitable for most species, but rare or variegated varieties prefer more humid air. TEMPERATURE: Optimally 18–27°C. Temperatures should not drop below 15°C.
